He made the best time once again on the last day at the new circuit in Buriram, setting the record for the entire weekend with a time of 1:29.781. As for Marc, he had the fastest time during the second day of that same test and was the only rider who made it under 1:30, with a spectacular time of 1:29.969. Only three riders managed to clock in under a minute and a half, and two of them belong to the Repsol Honda team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9 times gracing the Top 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dani had one of the top 5 times on five different occasions during the pre-season. In addition to the two times he had the fastest time, in Sepang and Buriram, our number 26 also came in with one of the best times on the last day at Sepang (2nd place) and the first two days in Buriram (5th and 2nd place). Marc reached the top 5 on four occasions: the first and third day in Buriram (3rd and 4th place), the second day in Qatar (3rd place), and of course the second day in Buriram, when he came in first.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bxrepsol-pre.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2022\/08\/05053219\/MGP_TEST_SURIRAM_2018-0358-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Dani Pedrosa Buriram test\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>1156 laps between the two of them<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marc raced around the track 646 times in the pre-seasons tests: 194 in Malaysia, 271 in Thailand, and 181 in Qatar. Dani completed 165 laps in Malaysia, 224 in Thailand, and 116 in Qatar, giving a total of 510. Together, the team rode 359 laps in Sepang, 495 in Buriram, and 297 in Losail. That makes for an impressive total of 5892\u00a0km covered, 3296 by Marc and 2596 by Dani.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bxrepsol-pre.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/static\/2022\/08\/05053225\/MGP_TEST_MAL_2018-9031-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Marc M\u00e1rquez en malasia test\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tyres, turns, and calories burned<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to all that, the team have taken no more and no less than 16\u00a0152 turns so far in 2018: 7067 left turns and 9085 right turns. Our riders burned 5500 calories each day, 2500 by Dani and 3000 by Marc, since he rode a good few extra laps.
