{"id":97217,"date":"2018-11-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-20T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pre.boxrepsol.com\/uncategorized\/repsol-honda-team-kick-off-2019-season\/"},"modified":"2023-02-27T07:13:49","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T09:13:49","slug":"repsol-honda-team-kick-off-2019-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/pre.boxrepsol.com\/en\/motogp-en\/repsol-honda-team-kick-off-2019-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Repsol Honda Team kick off 2019 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After five days of almost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boxrepsol.com\/en\/motogp-en\/balancing-acts-under-the-rain\/\">uninterrupted rain<\/a> showers, the sun finally made its appearance at Valencia today, but it took the whole morning for the asphalt to dry enough to offer good conditions for proper testing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorenzo<\/strong> took to the track around 1 pm, <strong>Marc M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> a few minutes later, and they continued until the rain again put a stop to the action around 3:30pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marc was immediately on the pace, finishing the day second-fastest<\/strong> with a best time of 1:31.718 after completing 25 laps. So we only did 25 laps. Anyway, we tried three different bikes, starting with the current one but moving immediately to two other bikes, each with slightly different specifications. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It was a positive test; there\u2019s still a lot of work to do but we\u2019re on the right path and the first feeling is good. Tomorrow we\u2019ll continue with the same plan, trying to understand the bike\u2019s balance because it changed a bit, and we still have to test the other small modifications.
